Exciting news for our Thursday morning co-working community! I am writing this from our last google meet-based co-working session. What? How is that exciting? Well, starting next week, we won't be disbanding, but transitioning our sessions to a YouTube live stream format. This change will provide a fresh and engaging platform for our members to connect, collaborate, and stay productive.
What to Expect from the YouTube Live Stream
The new YouTube live stream will keep the spirit of an interactive environment where all participants can engage in real-time. You will be able to share your progress, ask questions, and celebrate your wins together as a group using the chat function. This move to YouTube aligns with the needs of our community as we adapt to ongoing changes.
Enhancing the Co-Working Experience
Transitioning to a live stream format allows us to enhance the co-working experience in several ways.
Real-Time Interaction: With live chat features, you can communicate with fellow participants instantly, making it easier to share ideas and seek support. I will read your comments out loud in the chat when appropriate.
Inclusive Environment: No matter where you are, you can join our community and contribute, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives.
Dynamic Content: Each live session will now begin with a short breathing exercise to promote focus and offer participants a collaborative projects to work on tailored to our community’s interests.
Making our Thursday sessions public and live allows us to serve a much broader audience, meeting them directly where they are binge-watching desperate housewives for the 5th time. You know who you are, queen.
Updates on the New Homeschool Project
In addition to the co-working sessions, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a new homeschool project in collaboration with the Collins Institute for the Gifted, slated for 2027.
This exciting educational partnership aims to provide a valuable autistic-led private education experience and CEO-level mentorship to the precarious entrepreneurs of the future, tuition-free.
Watch this space for more, including an intimate sneak peek into the working of the brilliant Collins-institute open-source software driving this project in the 2026-2027 school year.
What This Means for You
For our community members, this means you can soon access a wealth of resources directly aligned with your homeschooling needs. Expect to see:
Workshops: Interactive workshops focused on various subjects, allowing students to engage with new content.
Resource Sharing: A platform for parents to share effective teaching strategies, tools, and materials for homeschool education.
Guest Speakers: Engaging content from experts and experienced educators who can offer insights into unconventional educational paths.
Stay tuned for further updates on this initiative. We believe it will open new doors for families guided by the principles of neuroqueer schooling and inspired by creative, experiential learning.
Keeping Hope Alive in Uncertain Times
As we venture into these uncertain times, it is crucial to keep hope in our hearts. The global landscape is changing, and many of us are feeling the pressure of these transitions. We want to remind you that our community is a source of support when you need it.
I will never let a support request in the forum go unanswered, please reach out if you are feeling overwhelmed.
Staying connected with like-minded individuals is more important than ever. Engaging in co-working sessions and participating in the collaborative education project fosters a grounding sense of purpose in uncertain times.
Opportunities for Experiential Activism
At the heart of anarchistic community values lies the principle of experiential activism. This concept encourages individuals to engage actively with the community creating meaningful, tangible change.
We will provide many opportunities for you to participate in various projects and initiatives. Whether through co-working, workshops, community art projects,or spiritual practice you will have opportunities to wake up your creative instincts, participate, and share your inner world.
Ways to Get Involved
Join the Live Streams: Participate in our live streams every Thursday to stay energized and engage with positive action.
Share Ideas: Use the live chat feature to express your thoughts about the shared project of the day or suggest future topics for co-working sessions.
Get Active: Consider volunteering for initiatives that align with our values. Collaborate on local projects or create your own mini-initiatives within the community.
Remember, change begins with active participation. Limit your exposure to legacy media, and remember to breathe. Hope starts with self-interested action.
